Project Overview
Nha Toi Boutique Cafe is a modern Vietnamese restaurant and café located in South Surrey, British Columbia. The goal was to create a distinctive brand experience that combines authentic Vietnamese cuisine with a contemporary café atmosphere, appealing to both traditional diners and a younger, design-conscious audience.
As Marketing Manager and Creative Director, I led the brand development, website design, photography direction, marketing strategy, and digital content creation to establish a cohesive customer experience across all touchpoints.
The Challenge
The local market is highly competitive, with many Vietnamese restaurants competing primarily on price and traditional offerings. Nha Toi needed a unique identity that would:
- Differentiate itself from conventional pho restaurants
- Create a memorable customer experience
- Attract both dine-in and online customers
- Establish a premium yet approachable brand
- Support future growth through digital marketing and online ordering
The Solution
I developed a complete brand ecosystem that combines modern design principles with Vietnamese cultural influences.
The visual identity focuses on warmth, authenticity, and hospitality while maintaining a clean and contemporary aesthetic. The brand system was applied consistently across the restaurant environment, website, social media, menus, promotional materials, and photography.
The result is a cohesive customer journey that reinforces the Nha Toi brand both online and in-store.

BRAND IDENTITY DESIGN
The brand identity was inspired by the meaning of “Nha Toi,” which translates to “My Home” in Vietnamese. The design approach emphasizes comfort, connection, and welcoming hospitality.
